Hate to ask dumb questions, but...
I just open a board... how do I get the topic to display the list of messages like I've seen on other boards instead of having to click on the topic & see the posts...
Also, how do I center the posts so they are all within the screen? I had one poster add a bunch of icons (which didn't show up) but had to scroll all the way to the right to see her whole message...
Also, while I'm here, is there a spellchecker?
Also, when replying to a message, is there a way to have that post displayed so that you know what you're answering to?

I don't understand your first question, when you click a thread(topic) you will be directed to the post and all the replies within the posts. It's the same everywhere.

Right, if the smilies didn't show up. That would mean the image host doesn't work, or doesn't allow hotlinking(using the images on other websites), so its best to use one that allows it. I recommended http://www.imageshack.us so far no problems and its really easy to use, you don't even have to sign up to upload images.
Now once you've got the smilies to work, they should appear when someone uses them in their post. I assume you mean it streches the page because the member has used too many smilies. So its best to have a collection of smaller ones.

Yep, there already is one. Just scroll down to see the posts you are replieing to.

Tender,
We dont have a layout option that lets you use a threaded view.
A page will fit the screen as best it can unless someone posts a picture that is too wide, even then there is a way to resize it but it is a more advanced trick posted on Tips & Tricks.
As for seeing the post your replying to, you could always click "Quote" instead of Reply if it makes it easier for you.
