Re: Bad Movies...beyond the hype!

Ok, I just saw the WORST movie ever last week :

Combat Shock.

I am pretty sure nobody here saw it, since it's a Trauma produced movie (ie : low budget).
Now they usualy produce movie that are a little crazy, but allways fun in a way. But holy jeesus ! Combat shock is utter crap. During the first 30 minutes, you keep thinking
"Ok, this is somehow a long introduction, but the movie itself is going to start soon"

*EEEEEN* ! WRONG ! The movie NEVER realy "starts", and this for a whole 1h30.
The very begining of the movie "aka the 5 minutes nightmare of the "hero"" are images of the vietnam war playing in a loop (mind you they only had 2 minutes worth of film, so they are using it over and over)
Then you have sequences inserted that have no point, and more important absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the "story".

If you enjoyed watching 2001 Space odysey, go run buy the dvd if you can find it though. You'll love it !

Yeah, gotta agree with Blackbat, Batman & Robin was the ultimate bad movie. Here's a long, but hilarious, rundown of it.

Gotta add The Blair Witch Project to this list. And Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I finally forgave Johnny Depp, but I still don't like to even remember that I've seen it.

tanya.. You're very picky..

I liked the Home Alone movies, well the 2nd one anyway. Most comedies?? That's just saying you don't like comedies, everyone likes them! emoticon

Batman & Robin was just awful. I saw the preview & thought that no film could actually be as bad as the preview made out, so (stupidly) saw it anyway... big mistake.
Highland Endgame is appaling too... Mind you, 2 & 3 weren't that much better...

Hehehe... I loved Signs, Solaris & Mark Attacks. They are 3 of my favourites films...

Iron Warrior was, I think, the worst film I ever saw. Starring Mile O'Keefe with the most phenomenal cheekbones imaginable...

My least favourite films are any with Hulk Hogan. You must know of him. He used to be big in wrestling in the 90's but now his is an aged man.

OMG the acting is as stiff as dead body! As Corny as field of the stuff! (Corn).

You must have seen some of his films. They are usually on at least in the UK on channel 5 on weekend afternoons or when there is no other **** on.

I agree with tanya about the home alone movies, I'd even say "any movie with Mc Cauley-kurkin" or whatever his name is, add to this movies with leslie nielsen.
Those go in the "horseshit categorie"
I liked Beavis & Butthead though.

And now for the hulk hogan movies, also I never saw one, I would imagine they might be very wrong, but not in a bad way : ie, like Steven Seagal movies. It's crap, but entertaining because the acting is so poor, and the script/action makes no sense (but then I don't think a lot of people share that point of view)
