Your board loads fine for me too. Pretty fast at that...

But, if the issue was the flooding of com3, then I think it would affect everyone, not just you.

Here are a few com3 boards picked at random. Can you access them?

http://com3.runboard.com/borlandobloomorjohhnydepp

http://com3.runboard.com/bmegashadow77sboard

Also, how about this: http://runboard.com/bcomputermonitorpain or this:

http://displacedveggies.250free.com/monitor.html

Of all the above, I was only able to access the last link (displacedveggies)

BTW, the links work fine at my local library (just not on my computer). I can't understand it. My ISP is Access4less, and the past month, they've been having problems, and also browsing seems a bit slower. But still, I don't have problems accessing sites except with Com3.

Can it be that the guy who flooded that other board also is flooding me? Like, maybe it's only some people with Com3 boards that are having problems with same?

Also, is there any solution, such as transferring my board to Com1 or Com2 (since those do seem to display for me)? Or is there any genious who can get to the bottom of this weird mystery?

Hmm,it shows up fine for me too and i run on Windows ME which is always faulty and IE 5.5.
May be you change something in your control panel? I not good at computers but maybe applying the original settings might help if you can access the control panel.

Do any other Com3 members have problems displaying Com3 sites? What about the guy who had been flooded?

Or does anyone have ideas if it might be related to my ZoneAlarm firewall, or anything related to XP/IE?

No problems with com3 servers whatsoever (as far as I can tell). Plus I don't think your problem has anyhing to do with com3 once been flooded.

Now, this ZoneAlarm thingie might be something that I would wanna check out if I were you...

Happy hunting...

Does your board reside on Com3? That would be the acid test.

I already checked ZoneAlarm program control, and the runboard site is not listed among blocked files.

I think Alpha Centauri is correct - it doesn't have anything to do with com3 being flooded.

If you can't access anything with "com3" in the address from your PC but can from another PC, then it is most likely your PC setup causing the problem.

Yes. It's a com3 board. Runs like a dream, like YOUR board does on my PC.

I'd suggest you didn't rely on ZoneAlarm's list of blocked files. How about DISABLING (furthermore - uninstalling) the whole thing and start testing from scratch?

Upon one of the above suggestions, I investigated the ISP angle, whereupon my problem might be isolated, but still not sure.

I posted the below on Freedomlist - my pen name there is "girl" - and hopefully one of you guys might be able to figure out the problem based on my last post in below thread:

http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=109257#109257

UPDATE:

Looks like someone on above-mentioned freedomlist seems to have solved the mystery, saying it's a network problem (something about Level 3 working, but Focal/Megapop not working.

Sorry about the nuisance - I never realized people could have these types of problems with ISPs.
