A bug on THIS message board
Thor, I have a peek in here every day and I've noticed that the support forum often shows me as being logged off when I'm not. It doesn't worry me much as I pick a thread to read and I'm suddenly logged in again.
Just thought you should know in case it does become a problem later on.
BTW, this only happens on this board, not on my own board.

Scribe.
If you are using Internet Explorer, then go to
Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
See if there is an entry at the bottom for Proxy. If there is, then there is possibly a cacheing issue.
It sounds to me like it a cookie or cache issue. Make sure you have an up-to-date browser. Many of the features of this site require a newer browser

I'm using IE6 with XP operating system. I've only recently been experiencing the problem. The settings all seem to be OK, I've checked them so many times as well as comparing them with another computer that isn't having the problem.
I don't know what else to do!

I don't see what I can do for you. It works fine for tens of thousands of other users, including me 
Sometimes stuff you get installed on your computer by spywares etc can mess your Internet Explorer settings a bit...

My IE is having mocho problems right now. After I use/run it for a while, EVERYTHING will slow down. Your text does not type very fast in forms, links are not clickable (it takes forever for you to be able to click on a link, lol) and so on. It must be spyware because my NS 7.0 browser does not do it.
Right now I am in IE, but in a little while I will be switching to NS since IE will start to slow down.
Makes me so mad.
