Re:
Not really frustrating but it would be nice to have a like system so we can like posts. Sometimes I have nothing to add but I want the member to know I've seen the post/reply.

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
Yeah. That would be nice. Right now the closest you can come to that is to just post a smiley.

Or click the Karma over by the person's name...IF a board allowed the Karma part.

Yeah. I thought about the Karma option, but I figured they wanted it to be known who 'liked' it ... and what post was liked. Karma doesn't let you know who 'likes' you, or what comment you made that is 'liked.' *shrugs*

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
Having my one Runboard since 2005 when EZ Board was hacked, my on running frustration is the basic BBC that can be used. I write on several different frums around the web, but when writing or saving my stories to my runboard, it takes a whole different set of coding ([ big ] instead of [ size=# ] [ col ] instead of [ color ] for examples). It is 2024, bot 2004. Would hope that runboard could stay with the times. Anyway, minor stuff. Was just passing by and saw this thread with recent activity.

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
Hi Arassuil,
It's true that our message boards use outdated bbcode and HTML in general, but as a board admin, there are things you can do with CSS to add a little more variety. The first line of this post uses three nested [b] tags, and is targeted in the CSS with:b b b { ... }
Also note, you can use [table], [tr], and [td] in posts, even though we don't have buttons for them. Note that you will need to omit carriage returns in tables unless they are directly inside table cells, otherwise you will have unexpected results. This glitch is the reason why the button for this code has never been added.
Of course, tables in posts can also be styled via CSS.
It is also possible to add CSS to your board to make it more mobile-friendly.
If you are interested in knowing more about this and want some help, please let me know.
