Re: roll over affect

This is covered here:

http://com1.runboard.com/bakheva.fannouncements.t139

The bit you need to see is below:

"Two new options are available in the Edit layout screen:

CSS trick 1
CSS trick 2

Those cryptic names mean the mouse rollover effects when the mouse enters and leaves the forum list rows (trick 1), and topic list rows (trick 2). It also makes the rows clickable.

The rollover is achieved by changing the CSS class for the row the mouse is in. By default, all existing boards have these options set to OFF.

New boards will have these options set to ON, since they get the default layout, and the colors of the rollover have been crafted to appear nice with the default layout only.

To change the colors of the rollover, you have to change your CSS. If you have the default CSS, you will notice 4 new classes:

.ak_fl_forumrow_mouseover_on { font-weight: bold; background-color: #e7f9fd;}
.ak_fl_forumrow_mouseover_off { }

.ak_tl_topicrow_mouseover_on { font-weight: bold; background-color: #e7f9fd;}
.ak_tl_topicrow_mouseover_off { }

First two classes affect the forum list (trick 1). Second two classes affect the topic list (trick 2).

If you have a custom CSS, you'll need to add those classes and customize them as you want.

This sounds complicated, but it's not, really."

In brief, you need to go to Control panel>Board Management>Edit layout /colors of your board and tick the CSS trick boxes.

If you have custom CSS (in other words you have made changes to the board's default CSS), you also need to go to Control panel>Board Management>Edit layout /colors of your board>Manage Custom Style Sheet (CSS) and add the 4 classes listed above. Once they are in, you can change the colours to suit.
