Re: Official policies - what is and what isn't allowed on Runboard
Hi Thor,
actually, yes. All the members in the membership by aproval forum on my board I know personally and the few I haven't met in real life, I have known for years and know a little about their background and things. Because we post personal stories and pictures in that forum, we decided not to let many members into that forum and keep it "in our group of friends". Hope this makes sense, my English today is worse than ever after spoken German all day. I do understand though that some pics in there went too far and I have deleted them right away. It's not so much that I have a problem with removing those pics, more so with having a little freedom of posting. I mean we don't do any of the mentioned things in the rules like rasism and other very bad things. It's just a little fun for our own amusement you know.

I understand. However, While you may verify the age of your users and enforce the 18+ rule on your private forum, it may not be the case of every Runboard forum out there.

Hi AdDi!
Yes it is! I love that song and the movie, been to a David Bowie gig not too long ago and was so hoping he'd do it but never did.

Re: Official policies - what is and what isn't allowed on Runboard
I am new as well.. and I am wondering about art. We all have artist permission to use the art within our group... in fact all members are licensed to do so. But, what about art that is a bit more adult in nature... pin up art and the like? Is this what you consider to be the explicit adult material? Also, we do verify age for each and every member as they are licensed and age is verified upon the licensing purchase.
Just want to be clear Mr. Thor.

Re: Official policies - what is and what isn't allowed on Runboard
Thor's definition of adult material that, currently, is absolutely not allowed on Runboard IN PUBLIC OR PRIVATE BOARDS/FORUMS:
"
- Adult material, as in 'Sexually explicit pictures, writing, movies or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.'. This obviously includes child pornography."
You mention "explicit adult material" - so long as it's not sexually explicit primarily designed to cause sexual arousal, it would be acceptable in a private, age-monitored forum(s).

Re: Official policies - what is and what isn't allowed on Runboard
To verify age for adult material in complaince with the majority of countries laws Runboard would have to take credit card details to verify the age of each person signing up.
Unfortunately that is something Runboard DOES NOT do.

Re: Official policies - what is and what isn't allowed on Runboard
I understand that Runboards doesn't verify age, our group has already done that through the licensing purchased made prior. The reason I asked before is because of the art. None of our members use the art to "arouse" themselves... but some consider pin up art that shows some skinage as too adult.. and others do not. THats why I wanted to try and clear this up, as I do not want to break the rules.
