I am getting it on my iPad. I just noticed it tonight and it is annoying. However, it is safe to click on. I imagine once we click on it, it will go away. However, it pops upon each and every board.

I think Thor's comment in the thread I've linked below will help you understand what is going on. He ran into some problems with Google Ads and stopped using them. He's in the process of using other means to support Runboard, and the cookie policy is probably a part of that. And, as with anything, it's a learning process, and it will take him a wee bit of time to work out the kinks. Just be patient. I'm finding it annoying as well, but I hope the best for Thor's endeavors.

I have noticed that some folks have found the Runboard's Patreon page.

It's not integrated into RB yet. I will publicly announce it when it's done (need to find some time to sit down and just work on it. Patreon's docs are terrible.)

This is why I haven't announced it, yet.

It will be a way for people to get RB's premium features by becoming a donator on Patreon.

People are free to become a donator now, but please note that your RB account will be affected by it only after I'm done integrating Patreon into RB's control panel. Hopefully during September.

The cookie notice is necessary because of the European rules for data protection - keyword GDPR.

Those rules are valid world-wide, and they include acceptance or denial of the use of cookies. I'm sure you have seen similar notices for newspaper sites and basically every website ever.

Now, I agree, it's highly annoying to have it pop up on every individual board, rather than just once for all of Runboard. I'm sure this is part of a process of working out the best ways of handling this in the long run. emoticon
