Upgrade/Referral link/button help!

I am going blind trying to figure out why the "upgrade account" link is not showing for non-premium members on my Runboard Design redesign board.

I have gone over all my entries which I believe could affect this "miscoptbar" link in the Custom Language Set, the board CSS, and the custom HTML without finding anything which would cause the item to vanish. I even added the referral link to the Custom language set directly yet the link refuses to display!

If you get a minute, I would appreciate some help figuring out what I did to cause the link to vanish from sight (and what I need to do to bring it back).

The old board has it ... can you not find it to copy/paste? *says a coding illiterate.

Re: Upgrade/Referral link/button help!

Hi Jox,

Thank you for responding promptly to my query which has been a hallmark of Runboard Support for over 15-years.

Finding the missing link code itself was a simple task. The coding implies information being passed back to the system to show which message board community a user is on when they decide to upgrade their user account to "Premium Status."

I was able to restore this type of link for logged out users wishing to join a board when they create an account but have yet to discover how to do so for the "Upgrade link."

One of the reasons I requested help is because I believe in showing a user all the functions Runboard had before things started changing in a way that caused some features to stop functioning as they should.

This "upgrade link" detail is beyond my experience level as a front end coder unless there is something in my updating process which is breaking one item while fixing others. If such is the case, then I need to discover what it is to ensure complete restoration of Runboard functions while updating skin and theme codes both now and in the future.

Wish I could help. Sadly, I can't.
