Technically, we wouldn't need to add more buttons to the posting screen to add more BBCode options. \m/ isn't in the clickable smileys for chat, but it will give you an image if you type it in.

Definitely! There would be no need to actually add extra to the posting screen. Just simply have the system allow them.

I agree that allowing them is good, but users actually seeing the bbcode options is better. Especially when new folks come by and do not know that Runboard staff really does respond to questions (unlike some sites I could mention).

I agree Sandy ... and I too thought the coding was old.
Takes me back a bit lol and after having spend some time designing skins for the responsive layouts it's taking me some time to get back into these codes.
All good fun though and I do love a challenge.

Martha, if you know how to use @media queries for responsive design, you can actually do that here, but you might want to use display:block to make <table>s, <tr>s, and <td>s behave like <div>s.

Awesome sauce!  this page uses @media queries to make it more mobile-friendly, in case you need some inspiration. I haven't done this for every page, but maybe you'd like to have a stab at it.
