I don't know if it's the computer there's something wrong with, but right now the ,,send PM to [username]'' and the messenger links in the kindof signature, links to the page I'm on... f. ex. when I was reading the topic it linked to the topic, when I'm replying it leads to this page, the reply page etc.

Thor, today I heard a friend of mine say something about getting the info of the server of msn to check if someone is online by using a socket.
Since all the user lists or on that server, maybe it is a way to do it.

MSN has apparently broken the possibility to launch the MSN client by clicking a link. I didn't find a way to do it. The way that was advertized before, doesn't work anymore.
If you find a way to do this with the newest MSN versions, I'll implement it gladly.

There is another MB I frequent that I think has this option. Would you like it? Maybe you can find out from them.
I just checked and they do Have a thing like on here where you click the name to send the a MSN IM.

I have no clue on how to find out How they did it...But I assume if they have it than it can be done.

yes, strangly enough, all those phpbb and vbulletin boards can do it, but I'll ask my friend again and I'll see if I can crack the code of msn messenger (that's not to difficult, Mickey$oft doesn't protect it)
