Re: I'm back
Thor has probably eaten jelly babies in the past.
Does that count?

Re: I'm back
Under no conditions allow anyone to paint a "tattoo" with Black Henna on you. Henna itself is a natural dye extract which isn't black (it's brown / reddish), and is pretty much safe, allergic reactions to Henna are exceptionnally rare, and it has been used for milleniums by the humanity.
To make Henna black, people often add a substance called P-Phenylenediamine (PPD for short), which is a very toxic dye, also used in hair dyes.
Allergic reactions to PPD are common, and usually appear a week or two after the tattoo is applied. Some sever allergy cases can lead to life long disabilities.
I developed this kind of allergy (just a local one at this time, on the place of the tattoo) a couple days ago, it's really not looking good, I'm applying a cream there twice per day, but I'm not sure it works. Going to see a doctor tomorrow.
PPD Black Henna should be banned, especially since noone seems to be aware of its dangers. In Canada, while Henna is legal (as it should be), PPD Black Henna is illegal. In other countries, there seems to be no legislation about it.
If you looked at my arm right now, you'd see a massive, red, swollen scar that looks exactly like my tattoo did. I must admit it looks badass, but um, it itches a bit, and after what I've read about the PPD allergy cases, I'm a little afraid

Re: I'm back
That sounds bad. Here are a few tricks about allergies, maybe they will help:
You could try a salve that contains zinc oxide, that usually helps a lot with all kinds of skin irritations. In addition you can use those tablets of calcium that dissolve in water, calcium helps tone down allergic reactions.
Good luck, and seeing a doctor is a good idea, I think. Too bad about that tattoo, it really did look great.
BTW I do. Read the locations, I mean.
