HTML contest open - read for rules
As of today, the HTML contest for Akheva.com home page and general (non message board pages) theme redesign.
Rules:
1. It must be HTML - no flash, no just a huge picture, it must be regular HTML with eventual pictures.
2. Host it in a reliable place, so we can all click your link and review it without troubles.
3. Make it slow-modem users friendly. It shouldn't take over 8 seconds to load fully for a 56 kbps modem user.
4. Your submission must include a home page for Akheva.com (including the features that are currently there - you can add or substract minor stuff, feel free to improvise).
5. The date limit is August 31, 2003 at 23:59 GMT.
6. Reply here with a LINK to your submission. Dont just paste the HTML in your post, etc.
7. The winner will have their name on the About Us page with a link to a page of their choice, forever. Even if the HTML is changed due to another upcoming contest or something, the greeting at the About US page will remain. The winner will also have free membership for pay-only feature when those come. The winner will have such a membership for his account and one board he owns.
8. There might not be a winner, if all entries really suck.
9. By submitting your art you forfeit all intellectual property rights to it and transfer it to Akheva.com as a gift. Do not submit if you don't agree.

Thor, if you catch this before you leave, maybe the entries should be sent to you by PM? That way people don't steal each other's ideas. Just a thought.

I guess that would be the smart thing to do.... but it's not like I've got a great idea. I just hope no one posts some really cool thing, and another person steals that, expands on it, and wins. Oh well. Time to go back to work on it.....

Done, I just need to work out a few things with Frank and our design is done, full html, no flash etc, a few pictures
