I know you folks don't like to hear this but here it is:
It could be your connection.
I know I have fast DSL, and usually have no problem opening pages or replying. Yes, sometimes servers are slow, and yes, com1 and com2 are the ones most often affected. I know, because I visit boards on those coms. However, it doesn't happen nearly as often as you complain about it. In fact, every time I check boards listed here after another complaint, they work just fine.
I also know that at least AOL actively slows connections for a whole area when there are many high-data downloads going on. Other ISPs might do the same. That's why I asked about comparing loading times not only among Runboard, but also for sites outside of Runboard.
In addition, as LG already said, Thor is working on improvements and actually set the code live yesterday. It's not as if we don't listen to what you are saying here.

I can tell you why the series was cancelled... well, the rumors anyway.
Sir Lew Grade was at the centre of all three:
1. He didn't like the show
2. He took an early dislike to Ian Ogilvy
3. He'd sunk all of ITC's money into 'Raise the Titanic.'
