Which member list are you talking about? The one on your board, or the one for the restricted forum?

People have to post once in order to gain membership on your board - at least that's the usual setting.

However, the way you set your board means they cannot post at all, unless you add their user names manually.

Is that what you intended?

If you want total control over who joins your board, keep the settings as you have them. This is not going to make it easy for people to join, as they need to contact you.

To add member manually, go to the control panel for your board, security management, choose advanced security settings.

Up at the top left you'll see a box called "See members". Click it, and you'll see the memberlist. At the bottom of it, you can add member names.

Add yourself first, or you'll have trouble voting in polls. emoticon

That's in the "Arrange Forums" section.

First, number the forums to be in the order that you want them and click the "Rearrange" button.

Whenever you type something into the "Separator" field, it creates a separator bar with that text for the forums that are below it. You can have a separator for every forum or leave the fields blank to have a group of forums under one separator bar.
