Re: bannar
Arillian,
Are you unable to see the banner at all? If so, then your firewall may be blocking it because the filename has the word "banner" in it. Try changing the filename, reupload, and replace the url in your html header accordingly.
If this isn't your problem, then could you please explain what you're seeing and what you want changed?

I followed the instructions above and added this code to the html area but I'm still getting the Calm Pink layout banner. Please help! Thank you.

background-color: #000000;width:100%;height:44px;"></div>
<div align="center">

Re: bannar
Hello luvUall.
When I tried this on my test board it show up fine and I never had any calm pink layout.
but had a blue Runboard skin header on the top of your banner.
I don't know if you want the whole calm pink skin or not but as it is still showing on your board that I can see then you must still have it in your CSS.
I can't help you with that only and Amin can, and one will be around very soon.

Re: bannar
Hi Erika:
Yes, I want to keep the Calm Pink layout, I just want to remove this image and add my own.
Calm Pink Image
Maybe there is somewhere else in the CSS that I need to change this but I'm not sure where.
Thanks so much for checking. It's my first time setting up a forum here so I'm quite a newbie and any help is appreicated.

Re: bannar
Did you switch to a custom layout before trying to make your changes?

Re: bannar
All of the Calm Pink graphic elements are in the /smackdown5_12/ directory so if you are seeing anything else it is a good indicator that you are still in the skins "preview" mode. This is a common mistake but it is really easy to fix, you go back to the screen where you choose your theme and check the "copy and use" radio button which will make the Calm Pink theme your default theme. This will now let you make changes that stay put
When Smack designed the skin he put all the background graphics in the CSS and set the banner codes up so all you have to mess with is the custom html header to change the banner.
In this case you goto your custom html and look for this:
<!-- START SAMPLE BANNER -->
<img src="http://img.runboard.com/img/layouts/smackdown5_12/samplebanner.jpg" vspace="8" alt="Sample Banner" width="740px" height="100px">
<!-- END SAMPLE BANNER -->
The part I made red is the graphic for the Calm Pink sample banner. You want to replace that with your own graphic url (for example: http://www.photobucket.com/MyBannerImage.gif).
The text I marked in blue that says "sample banner" you will want to change to your banner or boards name.
The numbers I made blue you want to change so they match what your banners dimensions are or it will appear distorted when you look at it.
