Hey,
Luv4Bana having the same glitch. Most of the times when glitches happen, I've found that the problem is fixed quickly by Runboard staff.
Posts should be safe, backup happens during Daily Downtime.

Not wanting to worry anyone but, my problem of losing data from within threads began before the daily downtime today, and wasn't fixed by the restore.

It's not the case of losing topics. They are still there, we just can't see them. If they were completely gone then there would be a message saying
!
No such topic exists, or it has expired.
At leat thats what I am speculating..

Yes sorry - bad choice of words. I should have said the problem manifested itself before the restore and has not been resolved.
Rimmer has said under 'Main Chat' when I raised it that the data was still there.

Almost correct. Topics are there and are ligible as are the the names of the last poster to each topic and the times of those posts. Not only that, but total post count to the board still indicates the posts are all still there, implying a display issue.

To owners of boards on COM2: there is an issue with the server causing some pages not to load and posts cannot be seen. This is being addressed and we hope to have it fixed soon. Apologies for the inconvenience.
This comes from the top of the screen.
