Re: Table Border & Smilies
I hope you don't mind ... I went ahead and switched out the color codes for you.

Okay, I played around with it. It won't become invisible with the background because the background is an image. There may be a way to add an image to the code, but I'm not that good with CSS to do it. PR or Lesa will have to do that, if it is possible to do.
I tested it on the Bean theme/skin board, and this is the best that I can do with my teeny bit of CSS knowledge:
/* SIGNATURE BLOCK */
.ak_msg_post_signature_block {
color: #ff0;
margin-top: 1.125em;
border-top: 1px ridge #F7EFE7;
}
.ak_msg_post_signature_block:before {
content: '....';
position: relative;
top: 1.125em;
}
td[bgcolor$="#BF9F80"] .ak_msg_post_signature_block:before {
color: #BF9F80;
background: #BF9F80;
}
Thank you for your help and I thank you for changing it for me.

Re: Table Border & Smilies
You are most welcome. I switched the X's with .'s on the skin/theme board, but only changed the color codes on your board. I was trying to find something that would leave as small a square as possible, but it didn't work out.

Re: Table Border & Smilies
Thanks for trying that, Jox. That was pretty good, but I think I got it now.
I switched this:
content: '....';
...to this:
content: url('http://rbbt.net/skins/joshin_josh/coffee/cream.jpg');
That's this image:

You are most welcome. I figured an image url could be added ... just not how to do it.

Re: Table Border & Smilies
I hear you. Even a Google search of css content image shows some examples using quotes and others without quotes.
