I reckon that's why he lives in Ohio; it's easy to spell.

Wisconsin or Mississippi would be hell for him.

Sorry, that's a very unchristen attitude I'm taking.

That's easy for you to say! I've had this heart with "Mohter" on it tattooed on my arm since that visit to Ohio in 1998. emoticon

Sure, why not? It's not like they have much else to do up there...

Not only have they internet, but they are hard core programmers as well. They code ONLY in binary. I mean look at the state's name. It has the most significant bit set to "hi" (ie. 1) So the binary code goes 010 for 0-hi-0... True PC gurus, I'm telling you...

This may be stupid question, but does binary actually spell things? To people who can read it, I mean?

Nope. It's just series of 1's and 0's. Binary alphabet has ONLY those two digits. Binary is the ONLY "language"computers "understand". All other programming languages are nothing but an interface between the programmer and the final produced code which HAS to be a series of 01101101 at the time they hit the CPU's I/O...

And another thing: NO one can read in binary... (not to mention code using it).

Good, because the last thing I need is letters, which I can read, to start converting over to numbers, which I can't read!

Converting? No way you could do that by heart or by ANY other "humanly" way, given that even in the phehistoric 8-bit DOS era, EACH letter (character) has to be a series of EIGHT 0's and/or 1's. Say, 01001101 would produce the "A" char (the numbers used are in random order - don't expect me to remember the exact sequence. I am good when it comes to PC stuff, but not THAT good)... Heheh...
