I want a list of forum topics, not an individual page for each topic

Hi All!

When a new topic is posted at the forums on
my board it creates a complete new page.

I would like for each forum topic to be
listed, such as this topic list you viewed
to read this post!

I've looked around in the control panel but
I haven't seen an obvious setting?

I thank you for your help!

I'm not completely clear on what you're wanting to do, but I think this topic may have the information you're looking for. If it doesn't, please give further description of what it is you're trying to do - as I said, I'm not completely understanding what you're asking.

This is a per user (as opposed to per board) adjustment:

Goto Control Panel > Change miscellaneous options and uncheck the Redirect to topic after posting parameter...

Some users like it that way, some other don't. Therefore Runboard leaves it up to them to decide.

Hint: You may copy this post and make a relevant announcement to your board for your members to adjust their profiles according to their taste...

Addi and Alpha Centauri, Thanks!

I will make it a must read post for all users.

Update: I tried it and it doesn't work.

This is what have:

xyz forum topic1,page1; topic2,page2

This is what I want:

xyz forum

topic1 ----> you click on topic page opens
topic2 ----> " " " " " " "

I t would seem it's got something to do with
the number of topics listed per page. Right now it's 1 topic = 1 page.

in your control panel, on your board management page is misc options:

How many topics to display per page (premium boards only).
Min: 1, max: 50, 0 = default (20)
How many posts to display per page (premium boards only).
Min: 1, max: 30, 0 = default (10)

But I visited your board and saw two topics in one forum...

Hi spouzic,

That did it!

I went to misc settings in the control panel
and set the numbers and it worked.

As I was writing the last post I got to
thinking about it and I found it.

           Thanks!
