As noted above by Firlefanz, paying for a board to be ad free costs $25.

$10 just makes you a premium member and suppresses ads for you but not for visitors to your site. There might be a slight delay in propogating the effects of your premium membership to all Runboard servers.

And when you create a new forum, a default 'created by Runborad Staff' topic is also created. You can delete this topic although it usually looks better if you create your own topic in that forum first.

Sorry for being late to this topic.

What's the status quo? Since I am late to respond, I am willing to do a full reimbursement of your 10$ if so you wish.

No, that's not how it works.

Premium Membership is time based (per year).

Premium Board (Community) is based on page views for a specific board.

A flat $25 wouldn't reflect a 'user pays' basis. A really busy board using much bandwidth would pay the same as a relatively low volume board.

Re: Is Ad-free really ad-free?

well i do have to agree that it was kinda missleading, when i signed up for the premium servie (Member), cuz from what i gathered was that when i payed the $10 the boards that i had made would be ad free, and maybe i'm missing something, but i want a scrolling list of members on my board, and can't seem to find that... this was something else i thought that getting the premium service would give me... I'm not going to get all mad over the 10$ already spent, but if i have to pay per view on my board for both of these features, then i don't think i'm going to, my board is conected to My Yahoo Chat room, so i get near 2000 views a day, and around 200-400 post aday, so u can see i could blow through that page view amount real quick, cuz that's my stats after just 3 days of being up and not haveing all the members of my Yahoo group on that site.... a sugestion for u, when ppl are signing up to be a premium member u should have a thing that explains that there not making there board premium only there personal user account.... lastly ever think about going to amount of bandwith used? ie 10$ for 50mb permonth to 20$ for 150 mb per month... once i've recreated my site that is what i will be paying to any good server.... but really plz answer my question about the scrolling member list for my board the rest is just sugestions
