To prevent this, you will also need to remove that user from your board's or forum's member list. To remove a member from your board's member list: 1) Go to Control panel>Board management>Security management>Advanced security 2) Click on the 'See Members' button. This will show your board member list. Mark the box next to the member's name you want to delete. Then, click the 'Remove member' button. To remove a member from a forum's member list: 1) Go to Control panel>Board management>Security management>Advanced security 2) Scroll down and click on the Fine-tune the ____ forum button for that particular forum. 3) Click on the 'See Members' button. This will show that forum's member list. Mark the box next to the member's name you want to delete. Then, click the 'Remove member' button.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Sat, 10 Oct 2009 17:10:40 +0000 Re: How To UnBan A Memberhttps://bakheva.runboard.com/p66524,from=rss#post66524https://bakheva.runboard.com/p66524,from=rss#post66524You unban a user in the same area as where you banned them. Control Panel>Board management>Security Management>Manage banned users If you've banned by user name, unban them in the field that says 'Unban a user (enter user name): ' If you've banned them by IP or email address, click the 'Go' button to the right of the IP/email address (the column marked 'Delete').nondisclosed_email@example.com (Rimmer)Sun, 08 Feb 2004 21:07:36 +0000 How To Ban A Memberhttps://bakheva.runboard.com/p66523,from=rss#post66523https://bakheva.runboard.com/p66523,from=rss#post66523To ban users, go to Control Panel>Board management>Security Management>Manage banned users. Please read the information there on banning. In summary: Options exist to ban by user name, email address or IP address. Banning by user name is the normal method; by email address is not possible unless you know their email address. Banning by IP address is more powerful than by user name as the person has to change ISP or use another computer to post again on your board. Remember, many ISPs operate with a range of addresses so a customer could have a different IP address each time they connect to the Net. However, the first 6 numbers often stay the same so these are a better option if the exact same IP address does not show up each time the banned member posted. There is still a risk that you will end banning an innocent person or two if they have the same ISP. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Rimmer)Tue, 13 Jan 2004 04:55:04 +0000
