Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
A list of the last 10 or 20 posts would be wonderful...
I like the idea of adminstrators having the "power" to edit signatures, too. I'd have my work cut out for me.
Thanks,
Lace

That's an odd one, Phoenix. Your board settings seem to be stuck in limbo.
Feel free to open a thread in 'Q&A'. In the meanwhile, I'll ask around to see what's causing it.
Edit: no need - the problem has been fixed by Smack. The Custom Language Set had 'New' set for both 'new posts/threads' and 'no new post/threads'. This meant all threads & forums always had 'New' next to them. Thanks, Smack.
It's all beautiful now! Thanks to you both!

Re: What\'s most frustrating on RB?
I\'d say lack of new features
A proper bbcode bar like Smack\'s where you can select and press and it also inserts it where I left my cursor.
Quick reply as standard because I get an error with the other one.
Lack of board search (runsearch is cool but only has 138 boards, I want to browse them all)
Smilies in PM\'s
Edit is shown when I cant do anything

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
The front page default text size is too small (IMHO) and making it bigger leads (in my experience) to endless problems.
Premium board credits are too expensive (IMHO). If you have a very active board, it would cost you considerably more than it would to host your own vBulletin board, which can't be right, considering how little control/freedom you have on Runboard.
The slowness with which new features appear. Is the Runboard forum software (AkBBS) open source?

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
I wasn't aware that we could edit sigs. How is that possible?

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
You cannot edit other than your own sig, just put a maxwidth on the size of them

It isnt possible. The problem being most people are members of many boards not just one.

Re: What's most frustrating on RB?
It's very unusual for banned users to be able to read message boards they've been booted from. I don't think I've ever come across it before elsewhere.
