Re: Cheers Frank
LOL. Would you believe that I have 37 (!!!) webpages opened ( and all maximized) in Opera at the moment, plus MS Word, plus FTP software, plus Calypso email client, plus Photoshop, plus 3 or 4 smaller programs, plus 5 resident and my poor PIII @ 700MHz still runs like a dream?. I'm telling you, Opera means NO overhead!!!

I have currently open Windows Media Player (Playing Narcotic Thrust 'I Like It', 4 IE Windows, 2 MS Frontpage Windows, 2 Exploder windows, Emule & my pain-in-the-ass anti-virus software Norton 2004 Professional.
Thats on my 2ghz 80gbHD 256DDR RAM!

Re: Cheers Frank
Like you said, you currently have only 4 IE windows open. Try to make that 37 (like I do now) and THEN you'll know all about overhead...
(overhead=the software load that makes a PC starting to crawl)...

Re: Cheers Frank
Boohoo, my super computer has too much on it!
*cry cry*
Bah! My dinky little 32MB RAM, with 28.8K connection is a true test of patience. It struggles loading solitaire sometimes for crying out loud.

Re: Cheers Frank
Frank - www.angeltowns.com gives free hosting with no ads, but you can only sign up with them the first five days of each month (for the free service).
dot.tk gives free redirection with no ads (you have to manually turn off the ad in your account when you set it up) - that's just for if you want a short URL rather than it looking like a subdomain.
