if I create a area for some of those delicate few who just can't get along, and have difficulty in rules observation regarding intense discussion...and I password protect or membership protect it so it is not a public read...would that protect the rest of the board from potential violations ?

Re: flaming

If you mean violations of the Terms of Service (TOS), the answer is 'no'.

The TOS are applicable everywhere on Runboard - there are no exceptions.

Violating the TOS is a violation if its on a private forum or not, but what kind of intense conversation do you believe people will be having that would be breaking the TOS?

these two have shown the propensity to use terrible language...threaten to beat the crap out of each other and so on...

I have already lost one thriving board to a troll who planted TOS violation on the board and then turn us in...

I don't plan on this happening again...

If it's breaking the ToS, it's prohibited.

Other than that, apply common sense where applicable.
