font

hello. I am the owner of the Mature Mommas Group, I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to change the font on my group and give me some pointers on my page, this is my first time to actually own my own board so I'm still very new at it.

Thanks!

Re: font

You change it via the CSS - Custom classes.

Control Panel > Manage Board > Edit Layout & Colours Of The Board > Manage Custom Style Sheet

Have a look at the default css. It shows you the list of all the classes. A class is assigned to each part of the board.
Ie The list of forums, forum border etc

As you can see each has three or four fonts.
The first font is the one which will show up unless your user hasnt got that font in which case their browser would use the second font and so on.

To change the font copy the css class ie.
span.miscoptbar { font-family: }
and between the after the : and before the }
put the different font which you would like.

Example
span.miscoptbar { font-family: Planet Benson;}

NOTE: You need to make sure that your user has the font so it would be best to use common fonts and have a selectione of either including Arial, Tahoma or Verdana.

Example
span.miscoptbar { font-family: Planet Benson, Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;}

You can also change the sizes and other stuff. For a beginner it is best to follow the default css as an example.

Write all your changes in the box.
Then submit css preferences.

If you have any more questions I will be glad to help
