board question
How do I create a board that has the topic borders the way that this board does?

Re: board question
I think you mean separators. Control Panel>Board management>Arrange forums
From there, just insert the text that you want, where you want the separator to be.

Re: board question
but then again, he might mean the borders
Most of the borders can be changed in:
Control Panel>Board management>Edit layout/colors of your board.

Re: board question
Maybe, I thought borders would be obvious though.

Re: board question
You should never assume somethings obvious around here, we've seen enough examples of people getting the so called "obvious" very wrong to know better

Re: board question
Not always. How many boards do you see with borders, compared to ones without? We'll have to see what they want. How about a wager?

This board has borders and they were asking about this board
Your probably right, so no wager, but I added my input sheely to try and answer all possible meanings that could have been implied by this question.

Re: board question
No wager?
<peer pressure>Go on, you know you want to.</peer pressure>
Now I re-read the question, your answer seems to fit, far better than mine. LOL

Re: board question
Is that the why to get the topic borders to look 3-d? I'm trying to make it look exactly like this one, only with different colors. Do you know what style and stuff was used? ALso, how do you get that shading at the body of the topic borders. THe border is white, but it has a black line under it? Any suggestions.

Re: board question
The 3D image is called a gradient. You can make you own if you have a graphics software program, such as Adobe Photoshop 7. Once you've made and hosted the image, insert the url, into the box next to: Forum list table separator background image:
If you want it as a separator.
That can be found here: Control Panel>: Board management>Edit colors and theme
