People Signing up for my board.


I have a few poeple say they have tried to become a member, they fill out the registration, and it says it was succesfull but they dont recieve an email to say they have an account.

I hope that is clear as im just trying to explain it as they did to me.

When this happens, it is usually the new member's email host or email address causing the problem.

Provided the email address is correct, the email account is active and the email host hasn't diverted the Runboard mail, your new member should receive his/her notification.

i have a question how do you register a local account, the faq says there's link on the individual board to sign up, but all i see is one for a global account

Local user's no longer exist. The link has been removed, since they cannot have some features that global accounts do, such as OPMs. All local users, will still function normally emoticon

I dont think its been mentioned already, but some e-mail providers (Especially free ones) get clogged down and it can take upto 24 hours with some providers for you to receive the e-mail.
