Scrollbar help...

I know this has been asked and I tried what was stated in the other posts, but it's still not working for me.

I don't know if it's my browser or if it's the code I'm using.

The scrollbar on the add post thing changed colors, just not the main scrollbar.

Can someone look at my code and let me know if I'm doing it wrong?

Re: Scrollbar help...

As far as I can see, none of the scrollbars' colours has changed. Main page, add reply, new topic, none of them.

I warn you, I'm not very good when the code is so big, and I usually use external CSS (I know, there's basically no difference, but to me it makes a difference). I find it odd that the scrollbar code is in the body part of the code. it should've been in the CSS part.

Maybe edit custom CSS? I think that you've put it in the HTML header, haven't you?

Else, if that doesn't work, try replacing teh #purple with normal hex codes. If you don't know what that is, or can't find any because you don't have a graphic program (or something, whatever), try to go here.

Re: Scrollbar help...

Thank you, Cecilie...I put it in the CSS section and a bunch of code showed on the page instead.

I had the hex codes up before and it didn't do anything either.

I'm not sure what to do LOL, maybe I'll just scrap the whole idea. I have the same code up on my html header on my webpage, I assumed it was the same thing here since CSS didn't work.

Those who know what to do have my full go ahead on playing with it if they think they can fix it b/c I'm stymied on this one.

Re: Scrollbar help...

If you put it in the custom CSS, you should delete some of the parts, so the only remaining part should look like this:

BODY

{
scrollbar-base-color: #white;
scrollbar-arrow-color: #purple;
scrollbar-face-color: #white;
scrollbar-track-color: #white;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #purple;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #purple;
scrollbar-dark-shadow-color: #purple;
scrollbar-3d-light-color: #purple;
}

Keep in mind that things under 'body' also are things like font size and type, etc.

XD

I know I keep on saying new stuff, but I will, again.

In the beginning of your CSS, you have this thing called body. I can see you have edited it, because you have edited the background. Insert the code there, without the BODY { ... } in it.

Try, at least, I hope you understand.
