Ive just spotted a spelling mistake chaps emoticon

When you are in your control panel ie Global board-wide access settings
and you click require membership to read ..require membership to write and select password and then click the change security preferences without putting a password in the box..you get redirected to a page which says........

Please chose and enter a password!

A board must have access and membership gaining methods set. Unless you set a particular method for a forum, the forum(s) will use its board's methods. I.e. you can have a public board which is generally readable by anyone, and anyone can post messages, but one forum is password protected.

shouldnt chose be choose?? Do i get a brownie point for spotting that or a clip round the ear for highlighting it LOL emoticon

ps sorry i think i might have posted this in the wrong place..maybe it would have been better suited to bugs?? I'm sure you will move it if needs be. emoticon

Thanks for pointing that out, Bondgirly.

Because it's not a board stopper, I'll move it out of 'Very Urgent Stuff'. It's not a bug though, it's a spelling mistake, so it won't go into 'Bugs and Fixes'.

I'll put it in 'Feature Requests'. Correct spelling on the Internet is a feature I'd really like to see.
