To Be Able To Disable A Members Avatar Globally. Per User Settings.....

I Think that it would be a good idea if i could disable an avatar of somebody not being an admin, disable it on any board, and it be disabled globally. BUT. i am the only person it is disabled for. others can choose if they disable it with there own options....

i think this woud be an idea because some users avatars contain some imagery that isn't something i really want to look at.

does anyone not understand what i mean?

That would be interfering with other boardowners powers.
If you eg. deleted an avatar for any of my members, and their avatar wouldnt show on my board, I would be pissed LOLOLOL

Anyway, IF this was an option, noone of us would have any avatar at all emoticon

no. it will only not appear for that ONE person that chose for it to be disabled. so they are the only one not to see it.

EG.

if you didn't like my avatar you could click a link under it that would stop it displaying, other will see but you wont. any other board you go on the avatar of mine will not show to you.

Sounds like a good idea. It could also work for signatures too, probably. emoticon

Yeah, like if somebody has to scroll from side to side because of a wide signature, or an avatar is so wide that it scrunches the width of their posts (if the admin doesn't limit avatar size), or the banner in their sig is 800px tall and someone is tired of scrolling past it to read the next post, it would be nice if they could say, "I'm tired of seeing that" *click*. emoticon

Yeah, but what if I'm at somebody else's board and have no control over that? emoticon
