Re: Its Me Again
Hi Lilivy,
The cookies notification is a requirement from the EU to make sure you know Runboard is using them (and has been doing so since the systems founding from what I can determine). It is totally safe.

Re:
You can also click on the second option in that box and choose what cookies you want saved, but you have to save some. Cookies are not really harmful. If you are going to see an advertisement, wouldn't it be better to see something of interest rather than something random?

The cookie notice is necessary because of the European rules for data protection - keyword GDPR.
Those rules are valid world-wide, and they include acceptance or denial of the use of cookies. I'm sure you have seen similar notices for newspaper sites and basically every website ever.

Re: Its Me Again
I get them on a lot of other websites. I only agree on sites I frequent ... otherwise I ignore them.

Re:
The one on Runboard can't be ignored. It is black and covers the screen. Most of the others blend in a bit and can be ignored while you read the site.

Re: Its Me Again
IMHO it would be better if the cookies declaration was in the second "bottominfoline" division and used the same settings for background used in the Runboard navigation bar. Such a placement would be much less intrusive from the users perspective and could be styled by the board owner or admin to better blend in with the message board.
