Bug: I click on "Applaud". It says I'm redirecting to https, but I get a 404.

The applaud goes through, but I have to back out to get where I was before.

Re: Runboard is now hosted in Chicago, USA

I am not comfortable with reporting migration and coding bugs in the announcement thread.

The "Control Panel :: Board management :: Edit colors and theme" is broken.

Users who have been using the Community logo options to set their boards banner should not attempt to make any changes using this option set because the system will not accept the URL for images, even those hosted for official Runboard themes! Worse, if you attempt to do so then all colors for borders, backgrounds, links, and text are set to #000000, and the settings are overriding explicit user declared CSS settings!

This problem can be confirmed by looking at my current (as of 6/23/2019) theme update project located here where I have a specific CSS declaration for all links.

The Runboard nav-bar display is busted, causing the default background color to be shown to users instead of the linear gradient.

I’m confused. Will things work again eventually as before?🤔

Can I change my banner safely?

Am I alone in this problem?
Is there another help board ?cause I’m not seeing much activity here.😐

Autumn, I would not change your banner, yet. I am not sure what is happening with that, but no one else has come here to say anything about an issue with that.

This is the only help board and I think we are all waiting to see what the owner of Runboard is doing. I am sure he will be looking in on this thread. He does have another full time job and I am guessing that he just hasn't been able to get back here. I do not know why other people are not reporting issues.

Tonight, I am going to play around with one of my practice boards to see what happens with the banner picture and my smileys. I promise to come back here and say what happened.

Hi Autumn,

Yes, fixing the host migration troubles will result in everything working again (better than before).

The problems with the various forms is a pain for everyone, but I am almost sure we can use the CSS and HTML areas without fear.

I will test this by placing a banner on one of my test boards and seeing if we can use the CSS/HTML areas to change it. I'll let you know what I discover before the day is over. I also post and answer questions about Runboard on my Runboard Design message board.

Autumn, I just tried changing smileys and could not do it because of that

We are soon going to have a lot of people coming to Support to complain about that.

I was able to change my header picture, but I do not have a Runboard skin. I have my own skins.
