Resizing images

In a post?
I know how in bbcode but... doesn't work. Or am I missing something? Do you know any sites where I can get images resized?

Re:

You have to resize pictures elsewhere and then upload them to the program you use to share photos. I like PhotoScape. It is free, but must be installed on your computer.

This link tells what all the program does: http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php
It can be downloaded to your computer here: http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/download.php

I did find this place where you can make pictures smaller online. It had good reviews from Norton so it sounds like it is safe. http://www.picresize.com/ I am assuming that after the pictures are resized, then you save them to your computer before you upload them to the site you use to share pictures.

Re: Resizing images

I sometimes use the image's thumbnail link/url when using in a post, or as an avatar. And sometimes the photo album website will give you the code that will display the thumbnail, and links back to the larger image.

Re: Resizing images

Sometimes when I am in a hurry I will use http://picresize.com/ to make fast resizing. You still have to use your 3rd-party image host for storage and posting but if you need to do something fast it's the best online site I have found.
