I am trying to get some tech help so that I might be able to recover what I had written on the wall post off of my own computer. I have not given up completely.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TruthorMisconception)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 17:12:25 +0000 Re: I can't retrieve what I wrote!https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294695,from=rss#post294695https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294695,from=rss#post294695Welcome to Runboard Support, TruthorMisconception! I just got home from my other job, and found your PM and posts here. I hope this video can help you figure out how to join Narcissistic Abuse Recovery. Step 1 shows how to create your Runboard account. Since you have already done that, you can skip ahead to Step 2, which starts about halfway through the video. To help you understand Runboard better... Runboard Support Forums (RSF), Susa's Sunroom (Susa's), and Narcissistic Abuse Recovery (NAR) are all different message boards on Runboard. You also created your own message board here. I doubt you meant to create that message board, so let me know if you would like me to delete it for you. You do have the access to delete it yourself, but it sounds like you have enough on your plate right now. The membership gaining method at RSF and Susa's is to make a post at that board. You became a member of Susa's the moment you first posted there, and you became a member of RSF when you posted here. However, NAR's membership gaining method is different. They require people to submit an application for membership, to be reviewed by a live person, which is intended to protect their members from narcissists. For example, some people might not think to use a fake name. If someone were to post with their real name, this would make it easy for the narcissist in their life to track them down and cause more trouble. By requiring human approval for membership, NAR's owner can PM an applicant who seems to be using a real name, and suggest they create a different account with a fake name. Runboard hosts more than just message boards. Your wall and your blog are both in your personal profile. Wall posts are meant to be short, while you can make longer posts in your blog. If you post in your blog, no one will see it unless they visit your blog. If you post on your wall, no one will see it unless they visit your wall, or unless they are on your friend list. If someone is on your friend list, they will see your wall posts and status messages on their own wall (aka "live feed"), and they will also see if you have made a blog post, but they will need to click on the link to your blog to actually read your blog post. The "Control panel" link in the black navigation bar at the top of this page is where you can update your Runboard account information and settings. If you hover on that link, some options will come up. If you go to "Board management" from those options, it will show you the board you created. If you click on the name of that board, it will take you to that board's control panel. Each board also has its own chat room, which can only be accessed while you're at that board, plus we have a Global "RB-wide chat" that every Runboard member can access no matter where they are on Runboard. If you add friends to your friend list, you can also chat one-on-one with them. To do all of this, click on the little box at the bottom right corner of the page, which says, "Chat". This video shows how to use the various chat rooms: Since you say you're "not tech savvy at all", I'm going to post this video that I found for a new employee I was training at my other job. Although she does own a tablet, she hadn't used a PC since the days of DOS, and was having difficulty doing basic tasks like toggling between the four different programs she has to use every day. Since it sounds like you know how to copy text, you might already be too advanced for this video to do much good, but I'm putting it here in case it helps. I'm sorry there was no indication that your wall post would be cut off if you tried to post it there, and hope you will find yourself in a good place to rewrite it soon. In the meantime, I hope you will join NAR and read some of the posts there. Maybe it will help you get back to that place you were in when you wrote it. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 04:22:40 +0000 Re:https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294694,from=rss#post294694https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294694,from=rss#post294694I wish you the best and I hope that things can stabilize again, so that you are able to write it out even better. Writing is very therapeutic. I hope, too, that you can find some help near you or online.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Susa)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 02:11:41 +0000 Thankshttps://bakheva.runboard.com/p294693,from=rss#post294693https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294693,from=rss#post294693I was in a good place when I wrote all that out. I was thinking clearly, wanting to expose my ugly truth and hoping to make a difference for myself. A lot has happened this week and my emotions are very high right now, almost in a panic. I don't have the clarity I would need to re-write the novel that I wrote. I will re-write it, but it won't be today. I appreciate all your help.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TruthorMisconception)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 02:04:32 +0000 Re:https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294692,from=rss#post294692https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294692,from=rss#post294692I think you should write it out again. This time, save it on your computer so that you have a copy. Then you can post it wherever you want online, too. Just be sure you keep a copy. I don't know what to say about your inbox. That board owner told me she was going to write. She must have had something happen on her end that you did not get a PM. She is a very nice lady. You could still apply at her board if you want to. It does sound as though you need to talk to a professional. Perhaps there is an agency that offers free services, in your area.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Susa)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 01:53:12 +0000 Inbox is emptyhttps://bakheva.runboard.com/p294691,from=rss#post294691https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294691,from=rss#post294691The only reply I saw from queenyforever, was on your page that I posted on. There is nothing in my inbox. If I can't recover the rest of what I wrote that day, there is no reason to continue to seek help this way. I won't give up, but there has to be a more direct way I can communicate with someone willing to help. I've seen counselors, but my medical won't cover couples counseling and its not just my life being effected by the things I did. I need more immediate assistance than what I am going to get here or from that board. Having the story that I had already poured my heart and soul into is what I need. I'm an idiot for not saving it some where else. I should've known better.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TruthorMisconception)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 01:42:50 +0000 Re:https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294690,from=rss#post294690https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294690,from=rss#post294690I found that partial post you made in your blog, too. There is no way to recover what was not posted. Runboard would not delete what was posted. If it was something not allowed, it might be hidden, but nothing of yours was hidden. Do you see, on the top right of this page, that there is an Inbox? It is in that black bar on the top right. In there, you have a message from that lady I told you about. She has a wonderful board that deals with narcissism. Very possibly you could figure out if you actually do have that there. You need to read her PM and then respond to her.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Susa)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 01:31:01 +0000 I saw your reply and that of Queenyforever!https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294689,from=rss#post294689https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294689,from=rss#post294689I appreciate the support and I won't give up on myself. I know that almost anything written through a person's computer can be recovered one way or another. There has to be a way to find the post I originally wrote. I will decide what I need to do for myself as soon as I know whether or not its possible to recover what I wrote.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TruthorMisconception)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 01:20:21 +0000 Re: Re:https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294688,from=rss#post294688https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294688,from=rss#post294688This is the only message or reply I have gotten from anyone so far. I know that I should have written it some where else and then pasted it, but I can't believe it is just gone. I wrote for over 2 hours, really exposing the truth of my situation, the wrongs I had done and how I felt about the current stage of my life. It was extremely emotional and although I fear I will have to write it all again, I am praying that someone can find the whole story that I wrote that night. When you post on the wall is there a limit on how many words and will it automatically start deleting or replacing what you are writing? Please do all that you can to help me find it, in its entirety.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TruthorMisconception)Sun, 04 Jun 2017 01:04:21 +0000 Re:https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294687,from=rss#post294687https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294687,from=rss#post294687Hi TruthorMisconception! You actually wrote on my message board and I wrote back to you. It is here: http://bsusassunroom.runboard.com/p640615 I also contacted someone who I thought would be of benefit to you, at the time, and she wrote you a Private Message. Did you find that? If not, tell me, and that we can find. I think that you would like her board. I only ever found one paragraph that you wrote that first night and so there is no way to find where the rest of it went. I actually hunted over Runboard that night to see if there was more. When I am writing a long post, I always write it in Notepad and that way I don't lose where I put it. Then I copy and paste it from Notepad to the message box where I am writing. Please answer back. I would like to see you find your way to the place that would benefit you the most. I think that it would be this board: http://bnarcissisticabuserecovery.runboard.com/ If you go there, now, try to post there. It will say you need to be a member and that you should fill out a form. Here is what you will see: Fill out that form and click on Submit.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Susa)Sat, 03 Jun 2017 21:45:30 +0000 I can't retrieve what I wrote!https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294686,from=rss#post294686https://bakheva.runboard.com/p294686,from=rss#post294686I am a new user and I am not tech savvy at all. I wrote a post several days ago right after I signed up, I had no idea what I was doing at the time. I wrote a very long, very personal post and only the first paragraph of what I wrote can be seen or found. What happened to the rest of what I wrote and can I get a copy of it? My computer skills are not advanced enough for me to use a site like this and I would just like a copy of what I wrote before I cancel my membership. PLEASE HELP ME! nondisclosed_email@example.com (TruthorMisconception)Sat, 03 Jun 2017 18:35:46 +0000
