Re: Da blinking smiley!!!
You mean the background in frame 4?
Other notes:
It looks like you started with an optimized smiley but didn't unoptimize it before editing. I don't know how much you had to rebuild for the last (top) frames, but since frames 2 and 3 would have been the same as 6 and 5, at least you can copy those over.
Also, since frame 1 and frame 7 are the same, you could delete frame 7 and change the frame rate on frame 1 to 600ms. It might knock about .05 - .08kb off the file size.

Re: Da blinking smiley!!!
I couldn't see it on the white background, either.
That smiley is going to look good when it's done.

Re: Da blinking smiley!!!
This one is almost a total rebuild from another "hugging smiley" I found on the internet. I was so glad to finally figure out the way to edit it that I actually went a little overboard and started editing each frame. How I missed frame 4 is still a mystery to me though. And all the frames were supposed to be optimized before they were compiled. At least, I thought I did that but it is obvious now that I must have missed a step in the process...
Thanks a million Susa and LG for checking it for me.

Re: Da blinking smiley!!!
You're welcome, PR. I should make you a video to show how I do it in Gimp, because it sounds like Gimp might be easier than the program you're working with.

Re:
I do it in Gimp, but don't know if I do it correctly. I think I do, but sometimes I forget to optimize after I have unoptimized.

Re: Da blinking smiley!!!
I don't think there's really a right way or wrong way to do it, as long as it turns out the way you want it. There are easier and harder ways, and yes, optimizing before exporting as gif is good because it cuts down on file size.

Re: Da blinking smiley!!!
It's a little smaller (filesize wise), a little faster, and doesn't blink anymore...
