Delay between Karma vs Posting (just curious)
I was just curious...
A Karma vote has a 3 second delay before returning to the topic but a post has a 5 second delay... any reason for that?
I know the delays were initially put in to stop flooding but why can't they both be 3 seconds now?

Re: Delay between Karma vs Posting (just curious)
Not posting, I meant voting in a poll... Doing this as a reply because I know how fast questions get replies on Runboard compared to other places...

Re: Delay between Karma vs Posting (just curious)
I have no idea why it's set up that way. Maybe Thor forgot how long he set one when he set the other.
Three seconds does sound like more than enough time to me.
Edit: missed a word.
Afterthought: I usually open karma votes in a new tab so I can close it again as soon as it says my karma vote was recorded. Yes, I like to be efficient.
