I wonder if Sendori also caused your blank posts? If so, then PR and Jox might have it, too.

??? I seem to have drawn a blank. I can't figure out why I might have Sendori on my computer. Probably my cold has my brain all askew.

I have had no blank posts or sudden live links since I got rid of Sendori. That thing was strange.

Nope, I get rid of anything that comes to my computer place uninvited and don't support companies that try to provide add-ons without telling me about them first.

Jox, I thought you use PhotoFiltre, but I could be misremembering. It also apparently had to do with the site where Susa downloaded it, not with the program itself.

Susa, that's good to hear. emoticon

PR, I'm the same way.

Nope, not me. Never even heard of it before. Although I may need to find a photo software for my new computer. On my desktop I used Microsoft Picture It that came with my computer. Which I believe is no longer available. Plus, I wouldn't pay for it anyway when I can get good ones for free.

I have Gimp on my desktop. I just never got around to figuring out how it worked. The same with Paint.net too. It's all so overwhelming. I know I should do it like I did the computer and other software ... just learn what I need to know when I need to know it and before long I'll know a lot.

It's the layer boxes. On MS Picture It, it was on a side bar, and it was easier to figure out. Whereas with Gimp and Paint.net the layers are in individual boxes and I get lost trying to figure out how to set them up. And the other separate boxes, that I have no idea what any of them do. emoticon I open them up, and then close them again. And that's as far as I've gotten with them.

I think I saw an online 'booklet' of sorts once, but I never got around to reading it. I don't really like reading large amounts of stuff online. I figured if I ever got a Kindle, Nook, or Tablet I'd read it on that.

Re: Empty post

I remember when they moved menu items around in a Gimp update a few years ago. I was probably even more confused then than I was when I first started using it, and had to find everything again. emoticon The places they moved them to do make more sense than where they were before, although I wouldn't be able to tell you where some of the stuff used to be.

There are quite a few video tutorials for Gimp online, if that helps, and since I know how to use it, I can help you, too. emoticon
