Oh yes, I just found her tube channel doing that.
I knew about it but had never visited it. It does help if she knows the words to the song she is singing however lol.

Excellent feature improvement indeed and am glad you rolled it out to the boards as well.
Do we (admins) have control over the video size window posted on our boards or has it been defaulted by Runboard to be the same for all boards?
I remember I had a setting somewhere in my board limiting the size of it.
Also, why is the current search word defaults to a "lolcat" LOL

Hi Jalal,
I'm glad you like the new feature improvement, and hope everyone else does, too. Some people have voiced an objection to having to search for a video when they already have one picked out, so I hope it helps to know that the URL can be pasted into the search box to make it the only result, as shown in the video tutorial I put online yesterday.
I'm not sure what you mean by the "video size window." If you mean the tool itself, the dimensions for this are defined via javascript on Runboard's end, which will override any changes you try to make in the CSS.
There was never a size setting on boards related to videos, but you can define the size of videos within posts (see: "YouTube sizes for skins"), which this new tool doesn't affect. Is that what you were thinking about?
I honestly don't know if it was Thor's idea to have "lolcat" as the default search term, or if that was part of YouTube's API code.  I did see a way to change that, though, and think it might be better to put Runboard as the default.

It doesn't bother me at all and if I have a video picked-out already I can do a search on the video ID (the one after the "v=") which we used to use anyway and that will bring up the video clip I want.

Yep, that's what I meant. The size of the YouTube window in posts. I seem to remember that the setting I had was smaller than what is currently being displayed on my board since the introduction of the new embed feature, so am gonna try and reduce the size of it and see if it still works.

You can also stick the whole URL in the search box, without having to selectively highlight and copy the ID. It's best to get this from YouTube's "share" link, though, because the URL you find in the address bar isn't always searchable in this tool. For example:
http://youtu.be/nR9OSeQ8QAA
will work, and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR9OSeQ8QAA
will work, and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR9OSeQ8QAA&feature=related
will work, but
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR9OSeQ8QAA&hd=1
won't work, even though they all lead to the same video.

CSS to define the dimensions of embedded videos will work the same way as before. The tool won't affect this at all.

The CCS code doesn't seem to be working anymore no matter what I type in there, the size of the YouTube window is not changing for some reason.
