Hi Pitzal *waves*

Put this in your custom CSS to control the signature size:

.ak_msg_post_signature_block img {
 max-width: 500px;
 max-height: 175px;
 width: expression([sign in to see URL] > 500 ? 500: true);
 height: expression([sign in to see URL] > 175 ? 175: true);
}

The numbers in red and in blue need to match or you get very strange results...

blockquote {background-color:transparent; }

 b b b img { width: 300px }

.ak_msg_post_signature_block img {
 max-width: 300px;
 max-height: 175px;
 width: expression([sign in to see URL] > 300 ? 300: true);
 height: expression([sign in to see URL] > 175 ? 175: true);
}

See that big red closing bracket above? It's missing from your CSS.

Every time you make an edit to your CSS, you should run it through #validate_by_input]this validator, because these types of errors are usually what cause your CSS to not work.

That said, the CSS you're adding right now won't validate, because the expression() code doesn't comply with web standards. However, it's necessary to make it work in older versions of IE, so you can ignore that particular error when the validator points it out.

Re: Size of sig

Hi Jewel,

The CSS posted in this thread gives board owners and administrators the ability to limit the size of images on their board. This can be handy if someone's signature is so wide that it breaks the board's layout, or is so tall that people have to scroll a lot to get past it.

If your member wants to change the size of her own signature, she should change it in an image editor.

It would be possible for you, as a board admin, to re-size it on your own board with CSS, but it would affect every image in her sig if she has more than one (I don't know how many she has, since I don't know which member you're talking about), and it might look pretty terrible if it's enlarged with CSS instead of uploading one at the size she wants. Also, if she changes her signature often, any new images that are in her signature would still be the same size you defined for them in your board's CSS.
