Hi Sylvia,

Just change this part of your CSS:

blockquote {border-width:1px;border-style:solid;border-color:#ffffff;background-color:#EDDEE9;font-family:verdana;font-size:15px;color:#EDDEE9;}

Re: Border color

Hi Sylvia,

There is a CSS declaration called blockquote which is either in the default CSS or in your custom CSS. So look in your custom CSS for it first so you do not end up with two conflicting declarations.

If it is in there you just change the part of the CSS there that says border-color to whatever you want it to be. For example the declaration might say:

blockquote {border-color: #ffffff;}

or it might say:

{border: 1px solid #ffffff;}.

In both cases the part I made big is the part you will want to change.

Now there is a line at the top and bottom of a quote in the default CSS. If you are seeing that as well you may want to hide that so your border doesn't look funky. To do that you would also add this to your CSS:

blockquote hr {display:none;}

I hope that helps.

Sure thing Sylvia,

In your CSS look for this code:

blockquote {
background-color:#EDDEE9;
border:1px solid #FFFFFF;
color:#EDDEE9;
font-family:verdana;
font-size:15px;
}

to change it so you don't have a border just replace what I made big with:

border:0;
