Highlight the Delete Board button

Hi Guys,

Today I was distracted a bit (by my wife I might add) emoticon and while in my board management view, I almost accidentally hit the "Delete Board" button as they are all the same colour and font.

Now, I know that even if I hit that button by accident, it will ask me for a confirmation in the next step, but it would be great to highlight the "delete board" button in a different colour to the rest and make it stand out a bit more.

Re: Highlight the Delete Board button

Hi Jalal,

I've never known anyone to delete their own board by accident. If someone would click on that button, ignore the warning, check the box, type in the word 'YES', enter their password, and click on another button that says "Delete your board," it makes me wonder if seeing that button highlighted might actually invite them to click on it, rather than deter them as intended.

That's not to say your idea doesn't have merit. Maybe a warning symbol or something like that on the button instead? Something that makes people think, "Danger, stay away!"

I don't have a way to edit that page yet, and the decision is ultimately Thor's, but I would personally consider it. I don't know how much it would help, but I don't see how it could hurt.

How about if we make the button turn black with red text and shake the whole page if it's hovered on? That might scare people away from it. emoticon It might also make it hard to click on, though. emoticon

I'll see what Thor thinks of the idea. Of a symbol, that is, not shaking the page. emoticon

Better still, make an audio file that sounds the siren when someone hovers over it emoticon
