Re: side bar

That's strange. It looked fine to me, it just changed size when there was more room for it.

Have you thought about using a fixed width for it?

Re: side bar

Did you change this part recently?

<div id="shell"><div id="header"><h3>NEXT METEOR MEETING NOV. 10TH-HARPER'S PUB-CLEMENTON N.J.-8:00 P.M.</h2></div>

I just changed your </h2> to </h3> so your <h3> will be properly closed. I'm also trying to make sense of this:

Header:
<div id="shell"><div id="header"><h3>NEXT METEOR MEETING NOV. 10TH-HARPER'S PUB-CLEMENTON N.J.-8:00 P.M.</h3></div>
 <div id="offset"><div id="container"><div class="container">

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v143/CHECK22/gifs/MeteorMA7408795-0001.png" border="0" width="100%" height="100%" align="center" alt="" />

Footer:
</div></div></div>

<div id="nav">
<div class="navlist">
...
</div>
<div class="navlist">
...
</div>
<div class="navlist">
..
</div>
</div>

</ul></div>
</div>
<div id="footer">
<a class="backtotop" href="#">Back to top</a>
</div></div>

The three things I enlarged at the end don't close anything. I removed the </ul>, but what two divs are you trying to close there?

=============================

Edit to add: It's a good practice to put comments with </div>s like this, so you know what you're closing:

<div id="nav">
<div class="navlist">
...
</div><!-- end .navlist -->
<div class="navlist">
...
</div><!-- end .navlist -->
<div class="navlist">
..
</div><!-- end .navlist -->
</div><!-- end #nav -->

Re: side bar

Lol. I have to leave for work in a few minutes, but will check it out this evening.

Ok, I peeked and see you made it a fixed width. Didn't that fix it?
