How did you find akheva?
I honestly can't tell you. It was an accident I think. I was looking for discussion boards (anyone that I can change custom things on, and it was on a network)

I know what you mean, but Vanchau is a friend of mine (he owns it) and the bills on the EZ hq is very expensive monthly that they barely make it monthly. The company costs millions

Re: How did you find akheva?
Ezboard is a good service, it is. But my website doesnt make me money. spouzic.com... domain, webspace, pobox and my yearly contest cost me quite a bit for a college student with no steady income. i wasnt about to pay for a message board too.

Re: How did you find akheva?
I understand that. Very respectable decision. Why pay if you don't have to.

Re: How did you find akheva?
hahaha Iansgirl that is funny
As for me...
I was and still am on a VCI board who at one point last year said they were to close but nothing was concret setting. Before then I had like the idea of my own board with possible full control on how it was run (or as much as it could be) but didn't know how about setting one. I then came acroos someone's postings and mention of the fact they had opened one with aimoo.com so I had a look.
I then opened one it was ok to start with then pop ups started annoying me and everyone else. Also the fact that if someone went in as guest their IP's could clearly be see by all not just me the owner. This off put people and the board went down hill.
In the mean time I did loads of search's and was trying to activate one which was difficult to do so I cancelled out.
Then one day by pure accident stumbled on this and have been here ever since and just love it.

Re: How did you find akheva?
How did I come across Akheva?
Well, I had spent 20 years in a high security prison. Then, one day, my friend Bernie and I decided to make our escape. We went over the wall and into the slushy swamp, avoiding the alligators as we slowly made our way to freedom; step by step, inch by inch. But then, suddenly, the baked beans Bernie had for lunch made their presence known.
That sound, and the bubbles in the water alerted the previously unaware guards. A hail of bullets zipped their way, our way, into the darkness. "Eeek!", I heard. Bernie was hit. I dived into the fecal waters to avoid the same lead-intensive result as poor Bernie. Somehow, I managed to surface just beside him. Spitting a bullfrog from my mouth, I cradled the doomed Bernie in my arms. This was the man who had shared my cell, my innermost thoughts and my soap for over 20 years. Just when it looked like we were in the clear, the winds of fate (or the winds of baked beans) sealed Bernie's fate. Ignoring the bullets, the bullfrogs and the baked beans, I positioned my shell-like ear to hear Bernie's last words. Those words were barely above a whisper, but I heard him say "Rimmer, if you want a free message board that is easy to use and doesn't have frigging pop ups, then I recommend Akheva".
"Wow, I thought, dropping Bernie's head into the festering, murky waters of the swamp. "Sounds great to me". With his last efforts, Bernie raised his head out of the water and started to say "And, Rimmer, the three million dollars I embezzled is hidden in..". But I had heard enough. I thought to myself, "Free message board, no pop ups - as soon as I can avoid this hail of hot lead, crawl out of this alligator-infested swamp and hitch hike my way from Louisana to Sydney, Australia, I'm going to join Akheva and build a message board."
So, that's how I came to Akheva.
Oh, hang on. No, Sash looked it up on the Net and started a board and asked me to join. I must have made up the other bit.
