Crova, Lesa began helping you with this issue here: https://bakheva.runboard.com/t17259#post301580

I really think you need to continue with her. She will be the best one to help you. I bet that she has that thread bookmarked.

Re: Changing font size and adding 'go to top' button

crova, when you change the theme, you need to check the radio box next to:

"Copy it to the custom layout, and switch to using the custom one."

If you don't change it to 'custom', you can't make any changes to the CSS or HTML.

I fixed it for you. Go ahead and try to add those things now.

Also, please remember that if you 'subscribe' to a thread, you'll receive an email when someone replies to that thread. It could have saved you some headaches if you had read my reply to your other post where I said a couple of days ago:

I was looking at the board just now when the whole theme suddenly changed. You might have figured this out, but I think you forgot to set the theme to a custom layout before.

We can only help you if you read our replies. emoticon

I don't see Lesa listed anywhere. How do I find her?

Hi. Tis me, Lesa! emoticon

I'm guessing you still need help, so go to 'Edit layout/colors of your board', then 'Manage Custom Style Sheet (CSS)', and look at all those places where it says 'font-size'. In particular:

span.postlistusername, span.postlistpostname, span.postlistpostbody {color:#000000;font-family:verdana;font-size:10px}

postlistusername is user names are displayed next to the posts they make.

postlistpostname is the subject line while you're reading a thread.

postlistpostbody is the post itself.

Change 10px to something bigger there. Once you get those fonts to the size you want, try enlarging all the others by the same amount. For example, if you like 12px for those three areas, try changing all of the 9px font-sizes to 11px.

I added a back to top link to your HTML footer, and styled it (centering and font) at the beginning of your CSS. The CSS for the font looks a little different there because I used shorthand, but 12px is the font size I made it, in case you want to change that, too.

Hi Crova,

I made a major coding update for the theme your community is using (Over Here). The update has both the larger font-sizes and the "back to top" link coded in.
