Re: How's the weather today?

The 90s are supposed to drop into the 80s starting on Friday. And all of next week is predicted to stay in the 80s. The nights in the 60s.

Re: How's the weather today?

Summer ended here ten days or so ago. Our high today (Thursday) was 63F and the threat of rain showers was always present, although a couple of drops weren't very convincing.

Friday's forecast is for lows in the mid-50s and highs in the mid-60s, with some possibility of rain showers.

I harvested the last of my crop of cherry tomatoes (or cocktail tomatoes, or grape tomatoes, or whatever you'd like to call them) and cut back the vines. Man, there were a lot of vines!

It's also about time to harvest the apple crop from my little apple tree that usually produces 100+ apples. I know it's time to harvest them because the raccoons come and grab the low-hanging ones overnight and eat about half of them.

Farmer Robbie, with an urban back yard, signing off.

Hi Miz Robbie! Your cherry tomatoes and apples sound good! I love both.

My high, today, turned out to be 87 with sunshine and high humidity.

Today, it's cloudy and foggy. Summer is now over. We did have a great sunny weekend and one more nice, sunny day yesterday.

I made the most of that!

I love fall weather! I had some sun this morning with golden/red clouds which were beautiful. The weather lady said we will have increasing clouds this afternoon. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 91F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

It's really nice out, as long as the clouds block the sun. It got down to 57F last night. If not for the hot flashes, I would have turned the heat on. Only three days next week will be in the 90s, so far. Then back to the 80s. We had a little rain, but not much to do anything.

More fog this morning. I did see the moon very clearly when I got up around 5:30am. Then the fog moved in, and hasn't lifted yet.

Fall is definitely here.

The last few days have not been as hot as predicted. I had thought that October was two weeks away ... but it's next week! And four of those days are predicted to be in the 90s. Then back into the 80s/50s. The breeze is cooler than usual. It definitely feels like autumn.
