Re: How's the weather today?
Rain, rain, and ... oh ... more rain. I'm above the flood stage, but I did have a dream the other night that flood water was washing away the yard behind my house, and we were trying to prevent my house from tumbling into the water. I was thrilled when I woke up and realized it was all a dream. Sadly, this isn't a dream for a lot of people.

Re: How's the weather today?
My goodness, that much rain is horrible! I'm glad it was just a dream, Jox!
It's sunny today, with a high of 26C. That's hot for us. I locked down my apartment again.
I managed to keep it at around 23C yesterday, and I hope I can do the same today.
We can expect thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Tomorrow will be repeat of this, with a high of 28C. I might melt.

Re: How's the weather today?
Even when we don't get rain, other areas around us are. And all of that water goes into the main river that floods the bottoms near my home. The floodwaters are within walking distance from my house, but thankfully my home is well out of range of the rising water.
Supposed to get bad storms tomorrow afternoon. The day's high is supposed to be 86F, and the night's low is supposed to be 69F. It's been rainy since last year, and it doesn't seem like it's going to stop any time soon.

Re: How's the weather today?
I'm sorry you're all fighting flooding. It's bad...
We had a series of storms in the afternoon yesterday. The heavy rain flooded my balcony, despite its roof. (Not permanently. There is a drain.)
Today will be a repeat of this, only worse. I charged my laptop so I can work without connection to the grid. I think I can get home before the fireworks start.

The high, today, is 77. Storms are to begin about 3PM and will last the rest of the day and all day tomorrow. There are lots more flood warnings.

Re: How's the weather today?
Storms yesterday were not as bad as I feared.
Today we'll get thunderstorms around noon. I hope I can get home dry...

Re: How's the weather today?
Several storms throughout the day, and more to come throughout the days ahead. It would be nice if floodwater could be pumped/shipped to drought areas. Or stored in water silos for use during droughts.
