Yes, they do because the current RB default has a question mark on it. I used the same dark-blue color and white background RB used for the current default avatar as well.
I could create a "t-set" with a transparent background and no question marks if you think they would be more versatile for Runboarders.

So let's say you have no question about your anonymity choice and want to use one of the anonymous avatars. I created a second set of them without the question mark and a translucent background so they should work equally well with light and dark backgrounds.
First, the complete anonymity avatar:
Next, I have six avatars hinting at being male:
     
Last are six avatars hinting at being female:
     
Permission is granted to hot-link to the avatars in any Runboard message board oriented activity.

Thank you, Susa,
I had a difficult time with the "open weave" hat in the woman's avatar set. The background kept reverting to a light blue instead of the translucent white color I used in the collection.
