Re: how long does it take for ad banners to stop?
Right now, you're showing 0 credits. Sometimes it can take a little while for it to take effect.
Lurkers can eat up your credits, but you can set it up so that only logged in users don't see any ads.
Put a check mark in the second option:
quote:
Display ads to logged in users on your board? (unchecking will only have effect for premium boards)
Pages with ads displayed will not decrease your reserve of premium page views [__]
Display ads to logged out users on your board? (unchecking will only have effect for premium boards)
Pages with ads displayed will not decrease your reserve of premium page views [X]
You will find this in your board's control panel: Set misc options
If you go into your board's control panel and click on the board statics button, you will see a page with these lists:
quote:
Date -- Not logged in -- Logged in, non premium -- Logged in, premium -- Total pageviews -- Posted messages
The total numbers of these two lists will eat up your board's credits:
Not logged in -- Logged in, non premium
The more Premium members you have, the longer your credits will last. That, plus having lurkers see ads, is your best options.

Re: how long does it take for ad banners to stop?
Hi Miz Robbie.
To look at your board's activity by user type (Not logged in), (Logged in non-premium), and (Logged in premium) you go to:
Control Panel --> Board management --> Board statistics
Premium users don't (or shouldn't) count against your pageview count since they have paid for extra features and one of those features is not to see any advertisements on boards they visit.
That leaves people who visit your board who are either not logged in or are logged in. Those are the people you can have some control over, depending on how generous you wish to be. I choose to show ads to those who have not logged in. It strikes a happy medium between being generous and making the most of the other paid for features. If you agree then when you go to:
Control Panel --> Board management --> Set misc board options
Look for this entry:
Display ads to logged out users on your board? (unchecking will only affect premium boards)
Pages with ads displayed will not decrease your reserve of premium page views
It has been awhile, but I think the default is to have this feature unchecked and uses up pageviews very quickly. So check the box and allow the people (or robots) who are not logged in to see the ads.
As a moderator, I do not have access to view your board's activity or to view payments received for processing. If you do not see your board's premium status activate in the next couple of days, then something has gone wrong.

Thank you both, Joxcenia and Pastor Rick. It's almost my bed time tonight, so I'll try your suggestions tomorrow.

Re:
Miz Robbie, I just checked your board and your 200,000 credits were added. Almost 200 have already been eaten up. I gave you back 150 so that you haven't really lost that 200 page views. I also check marked that box so that ads are shown to logged out users. That way you will save a lot of page views. Logged out viewers and bots use up a lot of page views. That is fixed now.
I think that you will see that your page views do not go down so fast now.
