Re: how long does it take for ad banners to stop?

Thanks, Susa, although I don't know why I'm clamoring for it. I don't have any ads showing. Maybe I should just shut up. emoticon

I haven't heard back on this, yet, but I hope to soon. Even if you haven't seen ads yet, it still needs solved.

I see I have ads on my board ( http://btimezone.runboard.com/ ) now, so I checked my administrative control panel and VOILA! -- I now have the button to select a premium board!

Given that I don't have Paypal, it will take me a day or two to be able to take advantage of that option, but hooray for getting it fixed!

That's great news, Robbie! emoticon

You don't need a PalPal account to pay through PayPal. There is an option to use a credit or debit card without having a PayPal account. emoticon

Sorry to bother you again, but I sure don't see where that is. All I see is:

At this time, only payment through Paypal is accepted.

Can you point me to what I'm missing?

EDIT: Belay that! You just plow ahead as if you were going to use Paypal and it ultimately gives you the option of using a credit or debit card. Done! Hooray!

Re:

I'm so sorry to bother you with these questions again. But here goes:

I started Time Zone (btimezone.runboard.com) on August 16, 2017. We had a month of ad-free status for the first month and then, after all of you holding my hand for weeks, I paid for a premium board. I bought 100,000 views, assuming that would last about a year. We're a small board without a lot of action. Imagine my surprise when ads started showing up today, about six months after the initial purchase.

I scratched my head and guessed we were more active than I had thought. I looked for some place that might show me the actual numbers, but couldn't find one. So this afternoon I stepped it up for a purchase of 200,000 views.

Then, a little while ago, one of my members said "The page numbers just went up by about 200. WTF?" Naturally he had left the board before I saw this, and he hasn't been back to see my question asking him WHAT page numbers and where he had seen them.

Did my board use up 100,000 in six months, or is there a glitch in the system?

And is there someplace I can see our actual use?
